“The Office” is done until they settle the strike. Other primetime shows will follow in the coming weeks. The”To Do List” on my TiVo is dwindling. I don’t like that.<\/p>\n

I think the stuff the producers won’t budge on is ridiculous. If you’re making money off of online, share it. That’s the way the system is set up.<\/p>\n

My wife and I talked about it, and she asked if I thought newspaper reporters (we worked at papers for 8-10 years previously) should get paid per hit when their stories are posted online. I said no because that’s not the way the system is set up. Hollywood’s system is based on residuals and to abandon that for a new format is just wrong.<\/p>\n

I really hope the writers stick to their guns. I know I’ll miss my shows, but I’ll survive . I haven’t ever really taken advantage of watching shows online and definitely won’t until the writers get their piece of the action.<\/p>\n
