My family doesn’t generally need much reason to get excited, especially on our annual trek to the beach. We have many activities planned to keep everyone as busy as possible. This year, something changed beach week for ever.

7 a.m. – Say goodbye from underneath the covers as they head off to my mother-in-law’s. 7:01 – Roll over to get more sleep.
7:05 – Realize I won’t fall back asleep and get up.
