I didn’t find out until recently that there were plans for a second Harold & Kumar movie.

I found out today that not only are there plans, but they have finished filming and a trailer has already been released. People really need to make sure I get this kind of information sooner.

The original Harold and Kumar movie didn’t register with me when it hit the theaters in 2004. We don’t get to too many movies, so that’s not a surprise. I can’t remember if we rented it or saw it on cable, but I was mesmerized for the entire movie. I’m not a marijuana advocate, but this stoner movie absolutely killed me.

I can thank Neil Patrick Harris for this. His brief appearances as himself stole the show. I am so happy he has parlayed all of that into his current role as Barney on “How I Met Your Mother.” Luckily, NPH is back for the second H&K flick, which will definitely make it worth seeing.
