Little by little, R.E.M.’s new album Accelerate comes into view. First, we had the Dublin rehearsals. For almost 40 days, we have had the clips at Ninety Nights. Before this week, we had heard a clip of “Supernatural Superserious” and seen a clip about the making of the video for the song.

I like it. It’s not earth-shattering, but it’s way better than most of the things on the last two or three albums.
