Happy Friday

I try to maintain a happy attitude most of the time. That proves to be difficult sometimes, but I manage to generally stay positive. Carrying a good mood around on a Friday really isn’t that hard, but it’s much easier today thanks to my favorite TV shows.

I hate when people make fun of watching television because it’s not a completely empty pursuit. It’s merely the entertainment of our times. And if the paintball episode of “Community,” or the end of Dwight’s brief reign on “The Office” makes me a little happier, what’s the harm?

But those things pale in comparison to the absolutely epic hour of television produced by the folks who run “Parks and Recreation” last night. They absolutely blew me away which, in turn, put me in a stunningly good mood today. To celebrate, let’s watch Ron Swanson dance.

If this doesn’t make your day better, you have no soul. If you have to ask why this is funny, you don’t know funny. We should all strive to dance like this as much as possible. Especially with the little black hat.

  1. Offerman should have won the Emmy last year just for the scene at the strip club buffet, and he didn’t even get nominated. If, between the dance and the lesson on government this week, he fails to get nominated again, I’m taking somebody down.

  2. I have just started watching Parks and Recreation and it is hysterical! Loved last nights episodes…and last weeks with the villan “Lindsay Shea”
