ESPN Radio Is Completely Useless

I am really glad I listened to a little of Schrutebag‘s (Colin Cowherd) show on ESPN Radio today. If I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have known that the Georgia medical examiner is incompetant because he says you can’t use Chris Benoit’s elevated testosterone levels to assume roid rage was a factor in him killing his wife and son.

The reason Colin knows this? When he lifts weights, the extra testosterone makes him horny. Since he wants to have sex after exercising, he has a better grasp on the effects of elevated testosterone levels than a medical doctor.

He’s really doing us all a service, you know.

Dan Patrick will leave ESPN Radio next month. Erik Kusilias left last year to do NASCAR on TV. Mike and Mike are about as entertaining as an old married couple. The rest of the hosts pretty much suck.

And then there is Schrutebag, who has such an annoying inferiority complex that he has to talk about how he gets horny when he lifts as he questions the ability of a medical examiner.

ESPN Radio sounds like a good idea until you look at these moves. Maybe Patrick’s replacement will salvage the lineup. If not, the network will go the way of SportsCenter and become as much a laughingstock as it is an icon.
